Charm City Roller Girls' Rookie of the Year (2007)

I started skating with Charm City Roller Girls during the summer of 2006, and it quickly took over my life in the best way possible! I officially made the league on October 9, 2006, and then was drafted to a home team, the Junkyard Dolls, in January of 2007. I skated the entire 2007 home team season, setting a league record of Most Points Scored in a Single Game and earning the title of Rookie of the Year. I became a league trainer in August of ’07, and in October, I made the Charm City All Stars. I skated with them up until I moved to LA in April 2008. Once in LA, I joined Angel City Derby Girls. After joining ACDG, I skated on the Shore Shots, one of their former home teams, as well as their all-star team, the Hollywood Scarlets. In addition to skating on both teams, I was Co-Head of Training for the league. In October of 2009, I transferred to the LA Derby Dolls. After working my way through Fresh Meat and Subpool, I was drafted to Fight Crew in April 2010. During the summer of 2010, I joined LADD’s training team. For the 2011 season, I was honored to captain Fight Crew AND make the Dolls’ all-star team, the LA Ri-Ettes . After taking 2012 off from the Ri-Ettes in order to focus on school and Fight Crew, I’m excited to have made the team again. I can honestly say that derby is one of the best things in my life, and I’m so grateful to have found it and have met so many awesome people because of it! :D
